As Tubi continues to grow, an insatiable appetite for data products grows with it. As a Data Product Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to work across many different business verticals, from marketing to content analysis, providing data products and insight from a PB scale data warehouse. You will work closely with a small yet agile Data Engineering team, designing datasets, data products, and services that will be used across the entire company. The Data PM will provide a crucial role in making sure Tubi's data is accurate, intuitive, and easily accessible for decision-makers. A core responsibility in this role will be helping everyone at Tubi take their next step with data, whether that is reporting, dashboarding, analyses, or a deeper understanding of Tubi metrics and KPIs. Responsibilities: Take ownership of the data warehouse at Tubi to ensure core metrics are easily accessible, accurate, well-defined, and documented. Break complex metrics and KPIs into an easily digestible language in data catalog products Work with various stakeholders across the company to prioritize data needs, organize data for internal, and external stakeholders, and prioritize incoming ad-hoc data requests to the data engineering team Facilitate integration with third-party data products by defining requirements and coordinating with external vendors Partner with Data Engineering teams to define data quality checks and monitors to ensure Tubi has high-quality, trust-worthy data Deliver data tools or automation solutions to minimize ad-hoc requests and data pulls Responsible for maintaining the quarterly data product roadmap and running weekly release and backlog grooming calls with the Data Engineering team As an expert in Tubi data, guide teams on how to take advantage of the rich datasets you help provide Your Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience 4+ years of relevant product management experience within the data space Experience working with the Data Engineering team (or similar teams) to understand the backend analytics events system Ability to learn quickly about different business verticals, getting to the heart of the actual business needs of stakeholder requests Prior experience working in roles like data analyst, business intelligence engineer, or software engineer is a plus Experience working with a data science team, data engineers, product managers, and business groups Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when discussing complex data analysis Expert at using SQL to analyze data, build reporting tools, and diagnose data accuracy issues Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and Periscope Strong experience delivering on complex data requests from a variety of business units (experience in a consumer technology company is preferable) Strong experience managing cross-functional initiatives across technical and non-technical teams Experience working on ETL and Data Modeling (DBT or other ETL tools is a huge plus) #LI-WW1 #LI-Remote Colorado and Washington (excluding Seattle, WA) $153,000 — $187,000 USD Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements , the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
