About the Role:
Tubi, Inc. seeks a Computer and Information Systems Manager (corporate title: Principal Product Manager, OTT) to build world-class video streaming experiences for Tubi in the living room (smart TVs, set-top boxes, and game consoles). Work closely with engineering, design, operations, business, sales, and marketing to break down complex problems into goal-oriented product plans and specifications that will drive Tubi business forward. Responsible for driving product development, owning core app metrics, and driving A/B testing.
Specific duties include:
Manage Tubi’s HTML5, Android and Roku CTV app platforms, including writing technical specifications for platform launches and new features like search feed integrations and voice control
Create mock-ups and prototypes of new features in Figma with the design team
Define and analyze A/B tests, monitor KPIs, and write SQL queries to understand user behaviors
Implement studio DRM requirements and monitor video player performance
Work with machine learning engineers on recommendation algorithms
Conduct user research studies with the Tubi UXR team
Work with legal and compliance teams to make sure Tubi platforms meet legal requirements
Oversee and supervise a Product Manager, Content
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of product management or related product design experience including experience building UX for consumer brands; building connected TV experiences; creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes; developing social products; and developing media/streaming applications.
Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, plus three (3) years of product management or related product design experience including experience building UX for consumer brands; building connected TV experiences; creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes; developing social products; and developing media/streaming applications
Experience must include two (2) years of experience managing and maintaining relationships between production, design, engineering and other stakeholder groups to successfully deliver products across platforms; and developing product strategy and executing roadmap for different streaming content verticals such as linear and on demand programming.
* Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following:
Experience using tools such as Shortcut, Figma and Tableau
Experience extracting, analyzing and visualizing data
Knowledge of digital video market and streaming industry trends
Knowledge of form factors and designs of various streaming devices such as living room streaming devices, smart TVs, gaming consoles, web pages and mobile apps
Experience using agile project management methodologies to build software products

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $267,365.30 - $294,101.83 per year. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k)plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
