About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the architecture of our frontend client offerings. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that systems and projects meet functional and technical requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Stylitics frontend systems are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
What You Will Do
Design and implement technical features, enhancements, and architecture in our frontend systems
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that our systems meet functional and technical requirements of projects
Ensure that our frontend systems are scalable, maintainable, and performant
Develop and maintain technical documentation for this team’s systems
Evaluate and recommend new frontend technologies and approaches
Lead code reviews and ensure they meet established coding standards
Mentor and coach junior developers in development best practices
Must-have Qualifications
6+ years of experience in frontend development, including experience in designing and implementing frontend architectures
4+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or similar
2+ years of experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Proven expert in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with, or strong interest in, Svelte
Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and Development practices
Proven success on delivering large scale projects
Experience working in, or with, the retail industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Nice to Have Qualifications
Experience with, or interest in, Clojure and ClojureScript
Experience working on, or integrating with, large retail e-commerce sites
Experience working on, or integrating with, adtech
React.js experience
React Native or any native mobile app development experience
Salary
When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay, and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $100,000.00 - $150,000.00. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package, including what is market-based on the region. Please note that the range is being shared in good faith and is subject to modification based on changing market and business conditions.
