As a Manager, IT you will play a key role in the continual improvement of SmithRx’s internal technology systems. You will help scale SmithRx while adhering to industry best practices and common security frameworks. This position will be responsible for planning, development, operations and support of information technology (IT) infrastructure, communications and procurement. This includes, but is not limited to WAN, LAN, telecom, service desk, network infrastructure (switches, routers, access points, end-user devices, etc), IT service management,, the overall IT support model, desktop services, and project management. What will you do: Ensure proactive, hands-on maintenance and proper functioning of the enterprise technology environment Owns a great service desk that is receptive, responsive, available, and empathetic. Support SmithRx’s SaaS tools and systems/information security compliance practices. Collaborate with team leads and managers across the organization to better understand and fulfill their IT needs including hardware/software acquisitions and upgrades. Architects the overall IT, OT and Cybersecurity infrastructure with the relevant stakeholders, keeping SmithRx a secure and documented company, operating a transparent IT environment. Own, execute, and refine employee onboarding and off-boarding processes and role transitions. Always keeping a keen eye on opportunities to refine and increase efficiency; learn, document, train, and support new applications and IT procedures. Review and create detailed and impactful IT-related documentation, standard operating procedures, and guidelines for yourself and colleagues.Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and guidelines relating to IT infrastructure. Ensures IT teams are working within corporate policy & standards and delivering an effective and timely service to the enterprise Creates business cases to propose improvements, which include cost-benefit analysis   What you will bring to SmithRx: 8+ years of experience in an IT environment 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferably if those teams have been distributed BS degree with computer or IT related majors preferred. Technical expertise on MacOS and Windows operating systems. Strong administration experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, Kandji, and Salesforce required/ required. Positivity; non-dogmatic, team-first attitude. Flexibility; someone who is extremely responsive and comfortable with ambiguity. Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills. Demonstrable troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis. Able to set up and move hardware and peripherals around the office. Experience interacting with service vendors. 5+ years Cybersecurity experience, a plus 50% travel required to support multiple office locations
