Smartsheet is looking for a Demo Systems Engineer who will create and maintain tools and systems used internally by our Sales teams to highlight how Smartsheet empowers companies to move from idea to impact fast. You own the demo environments and create tools that ensure successful Smartsheet deployment and adoption. You will report to the Director of Solutions Engineering Operations, located in our Bellevue, WA office.
You Will:
Create tools that allow Sales Engineers and Reps to quickly acquire and configure demo environments
Administer integrated demo systems, such as Salesforce/Jira/Dynamics
Maintain an AWS environment for use with our demo toolkits
Maintain and contribute to internal software applications built with Django (Python) and the Smartsheet API.
Create scripts and software tools as needed to enable demo functionality
Provide technical support as needed for the demo environment
Become an expert at Smartsheet’s products, enabling the Sales Engineers and Sales Reps to utilize the demo environment and close new and expansion sales
Manage the Demo Environment infrastructure.
Partner with the Product, IT, and Operations teams to create high-quality, high-reliability demo systems
Perform other duties as required
You Have:
2+ years software development experience
Experience with Python
Hands-on working experience in the configuration, customization, and deployment of software applications
High level of technical aptitude
Excellent time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Javascript preferred
Experience in the deployment of web applications preferred
Experience in the use of the Smartsheet API preferred
Smartsheet product knowledge preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, equivalent industry experience or equivalent educational experience

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $97,200 to $144,000 | All other US States: $90,000 to $130,000
