You will report to a Sr. Manager in Engineering, located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.
You Will:
Manage a team of software engineers to deliver great products to our customers
Maintain a high level of operational excellence focusing on application and infrastructure scalability, reliability, and performance
Lead, coach, and inspire your team to achieve quality software
Collaborate with partners across the company, including product management, UX, and customer teams
Establish lean engineering processes that use collaboration and rapid iteration to build the right product for the right problems
Hire and grow your team by promoting engineering excellence and career development

You Have:
8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years managing software engineering teams.
A deep software development skills in at least one systems development language such as Java,Kotlin or JavaScript UI frameworks like React, Angular etc.
Experience building and shipping robust, complex, and accessible user interfaces and applications
Experience in distributed systems, systems automation, and cloud technologies.
The drive to dive in, constantly learn new things, and build awesome products
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $167,400 to $243,000 | All other US States: $155,000 to $225,000
