About the role:
SmartBear is seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager to join our Cloud Marketplaces Product Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a technical foundation or experience and wants to play a bigger role driving overall business strategy while staying close to products, technology, and customers. The role will work closely with other cross-functional teams. This role is available as remote or hybrid-based in Somerville, MA .
Responsibilities
Operationalize the overall go-to-market strategy for marketplaces products, including ecommerce motions and product solutions via partner channels
Creating product messaging and positioning based on a deep understanding of, and empathy for customers
Being a thought leader in the industry and evangelizing SmartBear's story with customers, analysts, press, and other industry influencers
Travel to industry events to interact with customers, partner and generally represent SmartBear
Develop and maintain new or existing product collateral such as product briefs, customer presentations, competitive analysis, and sales tools
Produce and deliver training material to educate and train sales teams and partners on marketplaces products or solutions
Work collaboratively with product marketing colleagues to leverage product launches and associated materials and messaging to drive incremental awareness and traffic to marketplaces products.
Create content calendar and drive content creation for marketplaces products including web, marketplace listings, blogs, product and sales collateral.
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a product marketing role and a demonstrated track record of driving growth in a high-tech B2B environment
Possesses good expertise across various aspects of marketing, including brand marketing, PR, content management and digital marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical capabilities and the value of products
Ability to work in a team environment and with cross-functional teams and solve challenges collaboratively
Able to be a self-starter, to set priorities and maneuver the corporate environment
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing business needs
