People Operations Intern

Position Overview SingleStore is pleased and excited to welcome a People Operations Intern to the SingleStore People Operations team. The HR intern will partner closely with the people operations team, which consists of People Ops  and talent acquisition, and various other departments in our organization on a wide range of projects that will continue to push SingleStore to new heights. This opportunity is perfect for an individual who is looking to gain exposure with a hyper growth Silicon Valley scale-up. This individual will have the opportunity to learn the different responsibilities that go into working with an organization at this level while having the freedom to be creative.  Role and Responsibilities The intern will be work with the broader People Operations team (Recruiting and HR) to create and document processes  Assist with mapping of roles and responsibilities for internal teams and functions with the overall goal to understand what each person/position does and where potential skill gaps exist  Collaborate with HR on department calendar and timeline documentation Build project management systems for current and future People Operations projects  General documentation and organization assistance  Required Skills and Experience Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing a BA degree in HR (certification in HR is a plus) Basic understanding of HR principles: Talent, Operations, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Company & Benefits, Organization Design  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  A can-do positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and excels in a team oriented environment PM Skills are a plus with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Other: Employment Status: Full Time Internship Work Authorization: Eligibility to work for a US based employer Location/Working classification: San Francisco or North Carolina, Raleigh United States (IN PERSON) SingleStore delivers the cloud-native database with the speed and scale to power the world’s data-intensive applications.
