About the Role The Embedded Software Organization at Sibros focuses on the in-vehicle software stack, developing highly reliable software that can be easily deployed on a wide range of hardware, operating systems, and vehicle architectures. As a Senior/Staff member of the firmware infrastructure team you will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects in order to accelerate and optimize the develop, build, and release process for the firmware team. You will have opportunities to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and solving complex and problems that have great impact on the success of the company as well as take ownership of the following: Hold a critical role for our growing india team to automate and optimize processes to accelerate development and delivery of software to our customers Architect, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for the Firmware team Identify and address pain points in the development, test, and release process Debug complex problems between application layers and low-level infrastructure Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members through documentation and code reviews, knowledge sharing, being a role model, and improving their technical skills Identify and execute on fundamental code, design, and process improvements, ensuring we are creating best in class code and following industry best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create plans, identify risks, resolve issues, and deliver on schedule Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of experience in a similar role Fluent in English and comfortable writing detailed technical documentation in English Demonstrated experience with build tools (bazel, buck, pants, please, CMake, Make, ninja, SCons, etc.) for large scale software You have utilized and configured systems like Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Buildkite, Spinnaker, or other CI/CD tools Adept in use of Git Ability to design and implement complex tools in Python and Bash Familiarity with Linux CLI for development and debugging You are passionate about identifying inefficiencies, creating tools, products and providing support for your fellow engineers Experience mentoring team members, performing documentation and code reviews, and advocating for development best practices Preferred Qualifications Bazel experience Strong understanding of C/C++ tooling, compile/link process Experience managing cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) through Infrastructure-as-code tools such as terraform Familiarity with container ecosystem (cluster schedulers, Kubernetes, docker, service registries, secrets management) Equal Employment Opportunity Sibros is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
