About the Team:
We are a high-performance team of data, security, and marketing experts, who have spent a lot of time working with large-scale data at enterprises in Silicon Valley & India. We are looking to solve the customer data management problem once and for all in a secure, compliant, and cost-effective way.
We have our team located in Silicon Valley, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Athens.

Reverse ETL is a new category enabling the automation of brand new business use cases on top of warehouse data by routing said data to cloud SaaS solutions, or operational systems, where sales, marketing, and customer success teams can activate it. The team focuses on building highly scalable, reliable and efficient systems to be able to run in-house orchestration service and manage data pipelines to move from different WHs to multiple cloud destinations. This blog would give a high level understanding of exact problem and solutions team has been working on. We are a small sized team working on a big product vision leveraging systems built by other teams in RudderStack. Its exciting as well as challenging to work with cross teams, product, other engineering leaders to be able to work and guide considering business priorities as well as engineering aspect of system evolution.
What you'll do:
Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production
Quickly produce well-organised, optimised, testable and documented source code
Build scalable software systems
Review code work for accuracy and functionality.
Interact with product manager and convert their vision into technical solutions
Lead and mentor other talented engineers
Collaborate with other engineering leads and guide the team on software engineering best practices
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
A minimum of 5+ years of software development experience
A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
Strong knowledge in CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Experience with NoSQL and relational databases
Experience with Go
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
Ability to mentor other engineers
Experience building large-scale, high-performance systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additinal skills, will be considered a plus
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
Experience with more languages like Javascript, Python
Experience with any warehouse(s) like Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery/Databricks
