MANAGER, TOTAL REWARDS Based out of Rocket Lab's global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Manager of Total Rewards is responsible for administering our benefits program and overseeing our compensation structure and strategy. You’ll also implement new processes and programs as necessary. You will support the People & Culture organization, with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: Develop and maintain a competitive benefits and compensation strategy. Lead the administration of all employee benefits programs, such as medical, dental and vision; disability; life insurance; retirement; etc. Answer employee questions on eligibility, claims, and plan coverage, as well as research and resolve any issues that may arise. Oversee the annual open enrollment process, and conduct new hire benefits orientation, enrollment, and training. Audit and maintain benefits info and data in our HRIS system (Paylocity) Lead compensation surveys and analysis and assist with FLSA audits. Develop compensation strategy and related programs such as job descriptions and titles, job leveling, salary bands, and performance reviews. Partner with HR leadership to share relevant data and trends, and make well-informed decisions on benefits and compensation accordingly. YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS (Note: you must meet every qualification in order to be considered ): Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of total rewards experience; or 7+ years of general HR experience with specific responsibilities in benefits and compensation THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Experience creating and implementing total rewards programs. Familiarity with Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw key insights from data. Ability to work cross-functionally, and partner with other stakeholders to drive and implement change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.  In addition to base salary, Rocket Lab offers a comprehensive total compensation offer package based on individual qualifications and experience, including company stock. Employees will also be eligible for medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan options, and to purchase discounted stock through Rocket Lab's Employee Stock Purchase Program.
