OFFICE MANAGER – STENNIS ARCHIMEDES TEST COMPLEX
Based out of Rocket Lab's Test Facility at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, the Office Manager will provide administrative support to all permanent and transient staff and contractors as well as be responsible for developing administrative support for the facility operations and integration with the NASA Center and state and local governments. You will be integral to the smooth running of the test complex, the key point of contact for travelers and visitors to the site and ensure the Rocket Lab experience is maintained and well presented at all times.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Administrative
Generate memos, emails and reports.
Develop processes and standards for RL operations at Stennis ATC
Security
Issue and amend badges per NASA requirements.
Maintain a NASA computer account to enter badge and access requests.
Take active role within RL security team to ensure standards and protocols are followed.
People & Culture
Maintain and track company merchandise.
Manage the employee experience including food and beverage, offsite activities and launch viewing opportunities.
Facilities
Help ensure a clean working environment.
Manage janitorial staff, grounds maintenance, etc.
Facilitate modifications to the buildings within the RL branded experience.
Staff Support
Track and file training for staff members, contractors, customers
Answer questions and request information both internal and external to the company
Community
Support and initiate community outreach
Local duties as reasonably required.
Health and Safety
Ensure safety policies are followed.
Help manage inventory of PPE.
Assist in preparing incident reports, annual reports, etc.
YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCES:
Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft office
Previous experience with coordination and project management
Organized, proactive, self-starter, team player.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence behavior.
Internal and external customer focus
Open to learning values and contributing to the wider team.
Ability to keep calm and perform under pressure.
