Responsibilities:
This is a technical Product Management position where you will work with Platform team leadership, engineering, and enterprise architecture to build platform components and APIs/automation to support internal and external applications
You will be responsible for defining and driving product roadmap in alignment with the broader platform vision
You will be responsible for defining and building the application framework that simplifies and accelerates the delivery of new applications on the Pure1 SaaS platform.
You will come in as an individual contributor, partner with your engineering and architecture counterparts, set the vision and strategy, move quickly to execution)•
Work closely with platform and BU product managers and architects to assure appropriate platform services and stakeholder integrations
Define and drive the evolution of the platform application framework aligned with the foundational platform components for integrated identity, access control, and master data integration
This includes functional and non-functional features, automation capabilities, and platform services integration
Collaborate with globally distributed team to deliver a critical release, planned for early 2023
Be the spokesperson and representative for your product area to customers, stakeholders, partners, and executives
Act as a leader within the company and serve as a product expert for designated set of products
Define the product strategy and roadmap that support business and operational needs including business requirements (with prioritized features and corresponding business justification) and product implementation
Define and manage support of the delivery of periodic product updates and enhancements ensuring that all internal and external facing materials are ready for release/launch
Manage idea generation and screening, conceptual development and testing of new product ideas/enhancements through research initiatives
Develop product value proposition and messaging for internal and external audiences
Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into written requirements
Compare communication products to competitor’s products in order to assess competition in the market
Run beta and pilot programs
Participate in the user acceptance testing for all new product features and enhancements
Desire and drive to build and represent a team that leaders across the company hold up as a model to emulate
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years broad and deep product management experience – technical background required
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience with and technical understanding of large scale cloud and SaaS products (especially AWS technologies and architecture)
History of creating, developing, and growing platform products
Experience with software and related regulatory and cybersecurity (Identity and Access Management, Security Certifications, Network and Application Security) requirements
Must be comfortable with technology and able to earn the respect of engineers and architects
Experience and understanding of all aspects of product management including inbound product management (defining detailed use cases/epics, detailed requirements, and driving schedules) and outbound (pricing, go to market, messaging, sales enablement)
Thorough working knowledge and track record with lean and agile development processes
Enterprise and large enterprise segment experience
