The Senior Analyst – International Tax is a key member of Pure Storage’s tax department. You will be responsible for the foreign tax compliance and transfer pricing, a key player in achieving the business goals in a tax-efficient manner. You must be diligent, have strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with proven experience effectively collaborating in a fast-paced environment. This position will be based in Bangalore, India and will report to the International Tax Manager located in India. Responsibilities: ● Support the foreign tax compliance process for 30+ non U.S. entities returns and estimates ● Assist with India International Tax Compliance ● Assist with reviewing Foreign Entities’ Local Statutory Financial Statements for associated current/deferred tax provision ● Assist with review of Intercompany transactions & Intercompany agreements ● Assist with transfer pricing documentation, CbC Reporting and other local transfer pricing documentation requirements, and adhering to new OECD guidance ● Assist with yearly tax department budgeting & monthly fee accruals ● Support with foreign withholding tax matters such as research, WHT preparation of tax treaty benefits documentation and invoice review ● Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly tax accounts reconciliation ● Assist with internal and external tax audit queries relating to international components of return, including compiling and preparing responses to tax authorities ● Build collaborative working relationships with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Accounts Receivable and Legal groups and gathering appropriate data ● Evaluating current processes and implementing process improvements ● Support the International Tax department with tax planning initiatives and researching current international tax guidance/issues ex. Pillar 2 ● Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed ● Prepare and maintain audit-ready tax work papers and detail files for all open tax years Qualifications ● Qualified CA or MBA in Finance with at least 6-9 years of relevant International Tax experience in Big 4 and/or multinational corporations within the IT industry ● Hands-on experience in monthly, quarterly & annual foreign tax compliance with a working knowledge of international tax matters ● Experience in transfer pricing for US multinational technology companies ● Advanced Excel required, with experience in NetSuite, and Alteryx (a plus)
● Strong project management and organization skills who can multitask and reprioritize throughout the day ● Team oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of projects ● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
