This Sr. Financial Analyst - GTM will be a key member of the go-to-market finance team, supporting the Marketing and Americas Sales finance organizations.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Analyst to support the Marketing and Americas Sales finance organizations from our Shared Services Center in Prague. This role is part of the Go-to-Market Finance team and will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Accounting, Procurement, Corporate Finance, Marketing, and Sales organizations among others.
This role requires a self-starter with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and business modeling skills. This role will focus on the consolidation of reporting and creating dashboards to improve finance team agility to derive business insights and growth opportunities, influence, and empower decision making of business leaders. This role will lead the close and forecast cycles, report business variance analysis, support opex budget management, provide insights to headcount trends, and provide KPI & ROI metrics for discussion with Marketing and Sales leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
Own the budget and forecasting analysis process to provide accurate and timely actual vs budget variance analysis
Drive internal GTM Finance team review of materials prior to distribution to business partners during monthly reporting cycles with stakeholders (Marketing and Sales leadership) on key metrics
Put together email based summaries for Marketing and Sales leaders as applicable
Provide business insights and recommendations based on QTD performance
Partner with the broader Finance lead team member and Accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy in accruals, prepaids, and invoicing
Review and approve purchase requisitions
Maintain the Alteryx Flash Forecast and Allocadia Forecast
Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Marketing Finance lead for monthly and quarterly budget reviews
Develop and implement dashboards for budget reporting and headcount tracking to be used for presentation report outs
Develop and implement dashboards for budget and actuals reporting on T&E (Travel & Entertainment) and Headcount tracking to be used for presentation report outs, i.e. Tableau reporting
Own Headcount AOP and review/approve headcount reqs and offers based on quarterly HC AOP by Segment
Perform Renewal Quote reviews/approvals for accuracy and work with Subscription Renewals team on updating quotes as needed
Perform ad-hoc projects/analysis as needed
What You Bring To The Team
BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA a plus
2-4 years of experience in FP&A
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling with strong Excel skills
Great systems experience in Excel, Google Sheets, Anaplan, NetSuite, Allocadia, Alteryx, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar systems and tools. High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases. Proficiency in MS Access, SQL, or database programming languages is a plus
Attention to detail when necessary and ability to synthesize large volumes of data and summarize into presentation/management views
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, collaborative, positive attitude, and a strong team player
