The Marketplace Trust team is responsible for mitigating content and abuse-related risks to Poshmark with a scope that falls under five main areas: Content Policy, Intellectual Property Operations, Prohibited Content, Scaled Abuse, and User Safety. As an Associate Operations Manager, Marketplace Trust , you will be responsible for monitoring activities and projects related to the daily operations, resources, and systems of the Marketplace Trust team, ensuring efficient and effective performance. This full-time position reports to the Director of Marketplace Trust.
Responsibilities:
The following are examples of core duties that are considered essential responsibilities of the Associate Operations Manager, Marketplace Trust. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Maintain a deep understanding of all tools and technical systems within the team’s domain by proactively resolving knowledge gaps, creating resource materials, and serving as a point of contact to clearly explain various technical systems
Prioritize and distribute daily work assignments to a distributed global team in support of key performance metrics, shifting resources as necessary to meet service level agreements. This includes optimizing operating processes and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency
Manage vendor service relationships and ensure external partners are equipped to effectively complete assigned tasks from both a technical and operational standpoint
Drive and inspire operational excellence and standard processes across all Marketplace Trust teams by leading collaborative process improvement discussions and advocating for measurable, high-ROI solutions
Develop and maintain an appropriately ambitious productivity framework and assist with setting performance expectations for a team of specialized associates balancing multiple types of work
Deliver reports on operational health, project progress, anticipated obstacles, and data-supported resourcing recommendations
Manage team-wide operational projects including working closely with product and engineering teams to address bug reports and validated optimization requests, and support the implementation of new features, tools, and processes
Requirements:
Travel to Redwood City, CA office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
3+ years experience in Trust & Safety operations, preferably in fraud or policy enforcement
Comfortable working with sensitive content including but not limited to hate, violence, and nudity
Demonstrated success implementing scalable solutions to complex operations challenges
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technically diverse audiences
Experience working collaboratively to measurably improve processes
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with basic project management principles
Basic knowledge of Looker or other data visualization tools
Basic knowledge of Jira or other bug and project tracking systems
BA or BS degree is preferred
Salary Range $70,000 — $113,000 USD
