As an Associate Social Media Manager, you will work alongside our Marketing and Community Development teams to bring the Poshmark brand and our growing business to life across all marketing channels, including product marketing and social media. This role will focus on engaging and growing our current audience and developing impactful campaigns by working across a variety of social platforms, audiences, programs, and influencers.

Is social media savvy with a strong understanding of Australian consumers
Keeps their finger on the pulse of popular culture and trends
Is highly organised and able to balance multiple projects at once
Responsibilities:
Execute our local marketing plan, across events, partnerships, social media, influencers, and product marketing including email, blog, and in app events.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Community Development teams to create content that is educational and engaging, driving community growth and retention
Build Poshmark awareness and drive user growth through influencer marketing
Uncover customer insights and trends to help guide our integrated marketing strategy
Tailor app programming and merchandising to local consumer tastes and trends
Manage local social media accounts to deliver engaging content and build a socially connected community
Tailor product programming and merchandising to local consumer tastes and trends
Lead our Community Created Content program
6-Month Accomplishments:
Own end-to-end execution and localisation of product marketing initiatives
Infectious passion for our mission and desire to do what it takes to build our brand and community marketing in Australia
Establish strong relationships with cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders
Develop a deeper understanding of our product, brand, and community
Lead our Community Content program
Own channel and community management for the @poshmarkau Instagram account
Build relationships with influencers in an authentic way and own the process of monthly campaigns
12+ Month Accomplishments:
Support execution of our local marketing plan, including PR, events, and partnerships
Produce engaging content across Poshmark Australia including blog, product marketing, and email campaigns
Develop reports that communicate key learnings, performance metrics, and recommendations
Deliver a significant increase in follower growth and engagement on select social channels
Own, execute, and launch successful social media campaigns
Identify opportunities and propose strategies for all things marketing (in app, social, influencer, events, community etc)
Use holistic understanding of our communications to make recommendations on how we can improve content and delivery
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a marketing/social media/tech role
An understanding of Community based marketing
Experience with ecommerce, preferably with online marketplaces, and solid understanding of Australian consumers
Strong understanding of social media landscape, with substantial influencer or other relevant network in Australia
Has strong communication skills and is both creative and analytical, with great attention to detail
Proactive go-getter with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
Can think strategically about growth plans as well as the day-to-day
Social media savvy with your finger on the pulse of what’s cool and trending
Hustle and ability to navigate and execute through ambiguous situation
Basic graphic design skills preferred i.e. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite a plus (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
