Podium is seeking a Sr. Manager of SEO to accelerate new business growth in the organic channel, by driving the strategy and implementation of SEO initiatives at scale. In this role, You will bring a best-in-class knowledge of SEO (across both content & technical SEO). You will lead the team in developing & executing on innovative strategies that meaningfully grow non-branded web traffic, top-of-funnel conversions and that improve conversion rates on the blog and other relevant pages.  What you get to do: Lead SEO strategy and execution including keyword strategy, page optimization, technical optimization, and authority development with support from an internal and external team and partners across web dev, engineering, and content.  Develop innovative and data-supported SEO initiatives that drive to Podium’s business growth goals across editorial, technical and programmatic SEO spaces. Frequently measure effectiveness of tactics and optimize accordingly to maximize impact.  Identify high impact optimization opportunities across Podium’s site and pages. Partner with web development, engineering, creative teams to implement. Analyze and share performance data showing progress (and drivers) against traffic, conversion and revenue goals using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs. Evangelize and educate stakeholders throughout the org by sharing the opportunity for SEO and the strategy and roadmap for how we bring it to fruition Perform topic and keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content plans. Coordinate implementation with internal and external content production teams Manage and develop a small internal team as well as external partners What you should have: 2+ years of experience managing and building small, high-performing teams 6+ years of experience of hands-on SEO experience Deep expertise in editorial/content and technical SEO Proven track record of SEO wins (e.g. driving company growth at scale through search engine optimization). Highly growth-minded.  Depth of experience leading SEO strategy & execution including keyword research, site optimization, interactive and editorial content Technical knowledge of website architecture Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript (Experience with headless CMS is a plus) Very strong analytical. Strong data fluency. Background in analyzing and synthesizing data to inform strategies Excellent problem solving / critical thinking skills; able to effectively troubleshoot site issues that arise by forming hypotheses and working cross functionally to validate them  Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Excel, Ahrefs / SEMRush, Salesforce, web optimization tools, and competitor monitoring tools.
