We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst to join our finance team. As a Finance Operations Analyst at Podium you will analyze and recommend strategic, data-driven decisions to the Finance senior leadership team. You will be a critical part of refining Podium’s growing business by supporting and providing financial insights to further drive top-and bottom-line. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with building and enhancing financial models used for budget/forecast financial results during monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and accounting close cycles
Become an expert on all data infrastructure and Podium’s products, and know how to create data integrity from key data sources
Assist with regular reporting of key metrics such as ARR and churn and ensure company reporting dashboards are updated and accurate
Create and update reports and dashboards that assist the reporting and targeting efforts of the finance/sales/marketing/engineering team
Steward data-driven decision making in conjunction with varying stakeholders across the company (Sales, Product, Engineering, Business Development, HR, etc.) to optimize revenue and profit with the viewer experience in mind
Manage ad hoc projects on an on-going basis and present to business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
1-3 years of data science and/or finance experience with thorough understanding of financial statements and budget/forecasting cycles
Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources
Strong analytical skills and experience with and knowledge of Excel, Salesforce, and reporting tools such as Tableau
Netsuite experience is a plus
2+ years professional experience with SQL and relational databases
Strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, and ability to deliver results in tight timeline
Excellent and proactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
