The Role:
The Program Manager serves as the single point of contact across internal Production teams. The role strategically plans project milestones, monitors progress, and escalates risk to senior management when necessary. They also communicate critical updates to commercial stakeholders that will then be shared with clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Driving visibility and clarity as our teams work on multiple parallel customer releases; help us see where we are, and whether we’re on track
Tracking release progress, and communicating regularly with internal stakeholders
Serving as a primary contact for non-creative issues, tracking and reporting progress, and tradeoffs needed to ensure delivery during production
Maintaining our project schedules, and keeping them visible
Improving systems for release tracking and management
Partnering with MedTech, Quality Assurance, Art and Engineering leads to develop project plans
Advocating for, and contributing to, realistic scheduling and resource allocation, balancing overall schedules, including parallel projects
Driving information capture and team communication, with active participation in meetings, internal milestone reviews, and Slack
Collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
Must have:
5 years of experience as a Program or Project Management
Are organized, pragmatic and diplomatic, and focused on achieving good results with humane, scalable processes
Have a proven track record with project estimation and scheduling
Have experience with project and production management tools including: JIRA, AirTable or Microsoft Project
Are able to run meetings, capture and catalog accurate information and exit with action items for the group
Are a deadline driven self-starter, able to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Are empathetic, compassionate, and motivated by mission-based work
Have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Have experience working successfully on a remote team
Have an interest in, and passion for, the medical space and Virtual Reality
Bonus:
A Bachelor of Science degree in technology or engineering or 5 years of experience working in this field
Experience collaborating on technically complex and custom solutions
Experience working with ambiguity and building processes
Compensation
Our compensation package includes a base salary of $120,000-$153,000 as well as an incentive bonus and equity options.
