About the Team As Opendoor’s Enterprise Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying the customer needs, defining the business problem and strategy, owning the product portfolio roadmap, and communicating the long-term vision and goals with the development team to create the industry standard fulfillment platform for all institutional real estate transactions. You will lead the product vision and strategy, develop the product product roadmap, drive the product development and launch execution for the fulfillment product portfolio. The enterprise unit within Opendoor offers our technology and processes to institutional partners within residential real estate. Enterprise is building the one stop shop for institutions buying, selling, and managing residential real estate, offering a wide range of services such as direct sales, bulk transactions, brokerage, title and escrow, and more. Fulfilling the mission will include leading initiatives to create new sources of supply for our partners, software to enable our partner’s fulfillment, and developing tools that scale our internal sales and support teams in order to meet partner demand. You will work very closely with the executives within the enterprise business, operations, design, engineering, and sales and support. If successful, you will have helped lead and architect the platform of choice for institutional real estate transactions.  Role Responsibilities: Be responsible for setting the product portfolio vision and strategy to drive roadmap and execution Understand our strategic and competitive position and deliver products/services that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry Be the expert on who our customers/partners are and what they need to be achieve their goals  Help define and implement the go to market strategy as well as the services/software to launch Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products to consistently ship product capabilities and features that are recognized as world class  Integrate data, usability studies, research, and market analysis into product strategies and requirements to enhance user satisfaction and improve engineer productivity Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm Guide the team in making the tough trade offs that are informed by customer needs, long term strategy, and key business metrics  Promote an engaging, collaborative, and customer centric culture while maintaining team morale and health Understand and manage dependencies between Opendoor’s core products, 3rd party and existing customer tools to achieve the best outcome for our institutional investment partners Skills Needed: 5-8 years of product management experience; 3-5 years of direct ownership of enterprise software product portfolio Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field Experience working with high volume large scale enterprise software/services for a variety of different customers and use cases Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones Ability to manage many different stakeholder groups; ie. external partners, internal sales and ops teams, etc. and collaborate and build with other product managers, designers, engineers, sales & support, operators, and many other stakeholders  Experience in a “0 to 1” environment, driving clarity in ambiguous situations Experience of going through a full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution Demonstrated track record of moving quickly and delivering high quality work with limited resourcing Track record of driving design thinking and innovation A strong sense of ownership for everything you ship Excellent oral and written communication skills Data driven with strong analytical skills; SQL experience a plus Bonus Points if: Marketplace and/or real estate transaction experience  Experience with developing financial models and business case analysis Location: Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories.  Compensation: The base salary range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, and New Jersey is $164,000 - $253,000 yr, and in California and New York City is $164,000 - $253,000 yr. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
