About the Team
As a Recruiter at Opendoor, you will create strong business partnerships with internal clients and lead the full life cycle recruitment process for all candidate levels, including executives for functions including Corporate, GTM, Sales and Support, and Core Operations . You will be responsible for developing multiple sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract the best active and passive candidates, while leveraging technology to ensure an effective and efficient process. You will also be responsible for building and partnering with both hiring managers and candidates (both internal and external). You will be instrumental in creating a strategy around and executing recruiting strategies for and establishing the Opendoor talent brand across India.
Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior management and hiring managers in Chennai to understand and fulfill hiring needs and team goals
Support Corporate, GTM, Sales and Support, and Core Operations hiring team
Manage the full cycle recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
Partner with the broader recruiting team to help build efficient and scalable recruiting processes
Ability to attract and recruit passive candidates using a variety of recruiting methods and solutions including, but not limited to, social media campaigns, innovative events,
Boolean search, and open networking
Effectively leverages Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter to recruit, screen, and schedule candidate interviews to consistently meet or exceed service-level agreements
Responsible for research and analysis of recruiting market trends, understanding implications, and recommending solutions
Plan and coordinate recruiting events and represent Opendoor at job fairs, tradeshows, networking, and community events.
Build relationships with a network of universities and their career services offices
Own and be accountable of the strategy, planning & execution of Graduate and Early in Career hiring
Be fully cognizant and adhere to all policies and procedures governing the recruitment of Early in Career professionals and graduates
Coordinate with US team, and will need to periodically work in India evening time
Skills Needed:
A BS/BA degree
At least 3 years of recruiting experience
A passion for building effective, cohesive teams
The proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve challenging problems
A positive, team-oriented approach to your work
A track record of remote collaboration and reporting
Experience working independently
Bonus Points If:
Experience recruiting for a variety of business roles (e.g. Sales, Support, Operations, etc.)
Experience building recruiting processes
Experience with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter
Experience in Tech Recruiting
In office roles require all role responsibilities to be performed in the office. Candidates must be based within a 25-kilometer commuting distance of the specified office location.
