The Challenge
As the Director of Product for Risk Management, you will be responsible for building our portfolio of IT risk management, enterprise and operational risk management, and enterprise policy management products into a market leading solution.
The legacy GRC market is ripe for disruption, and your challenge will be to drive innovation into our risk management products in order to deliver a new and better way of doing risk management to improve the success of risk management customers. At OneTrust, we are devoted to thinking of unique methods of solving modern problems, so we are looking for a leader who is both knowledgeable about the GRC market but also possesses a growth mindset on how the GRC market can be fundamentally improved based on new technologies.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of GRC Cloud and working closely with Engineering, Marketing and Business Strategy executives, you will have an opportunity to drive a disruptive platform in a hyper-growing business.
Your Mission
Lead a team of product managers to build risk and governance products that customers love and the industry recognizes as the best in the market.
Never stop innovating. Now is the time to disrupt the old guard of risk products. Don’t settle with copying the old way of doing things. Think differently.
Ensure your team is delivering sprints with optimal velocity and priority. In short, build the right things with a sense of urgency to deliver real value continuously to our customers.
Develop a cadre of loyal customers to provide advisory services to help vet and inform your roadmap priorities. Listen well without bias.
Be a tireless evangelist for your product portfolio. Speak at events, motivate the internal team, and constantly advocate for the success of our customers. If you don’t love your product, who else should?
Continuously manage and communicate your roadmap to all relevant stakeholders inside the company and with customers.
Work tightly with our User Experience team and Architecture teams during the ideation and design phases to ensure we are building the right thing the first time.
Truly own your product line. Be proactive and resolve any issues that are impacting the performance of your product, whether it be sales, engineering, marketing or customer success.
You Are
An expert in building products customers love to use.
An innovator who has a growth mindset and knows how to disrupt the legacy way of doing things.
A leader who knows how to build great PM teams, and how to lead by influence across multiple departments in the company.
A domain expert in GRC or IT Risk Management who knows their buyer and their problem extremely well.
An expert in product management strategy and agile development processes. Usually this means you have built SaaS-based B2B products for up to ten years, and have brought products from ideation to product market fit multiple times.
Highly collaborative and know how to balance working well with others in engineering, UX, sales, customer success and marketing, while ensuring we are advocating for our customers’ success and company performance.
Experienced in the go-to-market motion of B2B SaaS or enterprise products.
Driven and highly accountable.
Proud of your products, and are a tireless evangelist for your product line internally and externally.
An excellent communicator with great written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in sales cycles, evangelizing product strategy, and interfacing with customer and partner escalations
A college graduate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
Skilled in Jira, Aha, Figma and/or similar product management tools.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for speaking events, analyst sessions, customer meetings and company offsites.
Extra Awesome
Prior experience developing products in internal audit, operational risk management, SOX or business continuity.
