About the role
As the Head of Sales in Korea, you will be leading a highly effective Cloud DSP sales team and driving Moloco’s growth. You will need to leverage your extensive leadership, strategy, sales, partnerships experience and industry connections to attract advertisers across various industries. You will also build and manage a team of New Business and Growth Pods, and work closely with other functions to deliver Moloco’s value to our clients. This is a senior role and a member of Moloco Business Leadership Team, based in Seoul.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
Develop and lead go-to market strategy and sales execution of Moloco Cloud DSP in South Korea.
Lead market expansion and growth of Moloco Cloud DSP across industry verticals.
Lead an organization of people comprising New Business Sales, Growth Manager and Implementation Manager. Define the business plan for the team and drive execution.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders with both our clients and partners.
Accountable for exceeding revenue targets for the Korea market.
Serve as a member of the Moloco Business Leadership team and build collaborative relationships and drive alignment across the organization such as (but not limited to) GTM, Marketing, Product, Data Analytics and Support team.
Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including hiring, people management, forecasting, pipeline management, account management, performance management and coaching.
Provide Moloco’s thought leadership and represent Moloco in industry events and public media.
Drive a customer success focus and growth as a team culture.
Here is what you need to succeed (Experience & Qualifications)
10+ years of leadership and sales management experience
Proven track record of building and managing high performing organizations
Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious sales goals in an fast-paced environment
Demonstrated track record of winning and establishing strategic relationships with clients and partners.
Strong sales, business development, customer success, partnership and strategic planning background.
Be an entrepreneurial thinker and have a strong growth mindset.
Excellent leadership skills with the experience and seniority to recruit and train the best talent in the industry
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
