As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in our close-knit and inclusive team, you will have the opportunity to build and define this group’s charter and be closely involved across business and product priorities. What you'll work on:
Partner with engineering and product leadership to drive product vision forward . Be a key pillar in the product team, bridging multiple cross-functional teams. Participate in the creation of product strategies and roadmaps. Be the hub around which a program rotates.
Define and drive program deliverables. Work with all functions to define and communicate program deliverables. Schedule and track progress, collaborating with internal teams as well as managing partner and vendor relationships.
Define and measure success . Define and measure programs against key metrics. Have a clear understanding of the impact on the product and overall business landscape, and provide regular reporting to the team.
Manage and proactively prioritize projects. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact the team’s ability to deliver on goals, timelines, and customer expectations. This includes new opportunities that are early-stage and determining when to bring in engineering resources.
Help define and specify product roadmap. Set OKRs and KPIs, work on roadmaps and PRDs and prioritize numerous conflicting feature requests from multiple stakeholders.
Be customer-centric. Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to triage, prioritize and address customer needs and feedback. Represent engineering in meetings discussing high-priority customer escalations.
Manage co-engineering partnerships. Manage key partnerships and external vendors, contractors, and manufacturing partners, collaborating closely with them on high-priority, high-impact projects for the business.
Work through complex technical challenges crossing hardware, software, and business group. Drive broader initiatives outside of regular sprints involving multiple groups across the company.
What you bring to the table:
5+ years of technical program/project/product management experience delivering end user-facing products and services
Experience with all phases of hardware or software development, from ideation to end of life
Proven track record of shipping successful enterprise products
Strong project management and leadership across a full development lifecycle, including cross-group collaboration
Relentless high standards for product, quality, and delivery, with experience managing and successfully delivering large-scale projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
Data-driven decision-maker and excellent written and verbal communicator
Experience implementing and running agile development processes
Bonus Points for:
Experience with Android-based hardware development
Managing cloud based software products
Master of lean product development methods and previous experience with Jira preferred
Salary Range: 135,000 to 163,000 USD
In addition to the base salary, full-time employees are eligible for participation in Mason’s annual discretionary bonus plan and equity plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay based on exemption status. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate including their skills, experience level, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
