We're looking for an Accounting Manager to join the growing Finance & Accounting Department, reporting directly to the Director of Finance.
In this role, you will be asked to help to manage and support the day to day operations on the accounting team. This includes overseeing the work of accountants, reviewing financial statements, and preparing reports for the executive team and board of directors. Additionally, you will be working collaboratively across the organization to develop and implement new policies, best practices, and tools to help create further operational excellence. What you’ll work on:
Review journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process as well as provide feedback to accounting team on adjustments
Develop and analyze monthly financial data in support of management reporting
Partner with Finance and Sales with revamping our order intake process and accounting best practices
Oversee the generation of monthly AR billings for customers & supporting AR collection
Manage our banking ecosystem, including evaluating new banking and credit card solutions and supporting weekly wire review
Drive process improvement projects to streamline and automate manual workflows.
Research GAAP and other accounting issues as identified
Support other special projects according to the needs of the Company
Identify and lead critical accounting projects including the implementation of new accounting standards, development of management reports, and implementation of new modules and features
Manage the tax, accounting, and finance calendar to ensure all filings and reports are completed before the deadline
Manage and file various tax filings

What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of related experience in Accounting
Excellent Microsoft Excel & related products suite experience
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with inventory accounting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
Prioritize work based on urgency and importance
Diligently follow-through on all tasks at hand

Compensation Range: $101,000.00 - $132,00.00
