Job Description
This position will be responsible for maintaining existing process equipment and developing best practices to reduce equipment downtime. Candidates must maintain focus on quality workmanship while abiding to the standards set forth within a given process. Candidates must determine, order and maintain spare parts and tooling required for maintenance. Candidates must be highly innovative and enjoy working in a dynamic and creative environment within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Follow detailed work instructions and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Interact with vendors and process engineers on equipment installation and qualification
Develop innovative solutions
Participate in yield improvement team efforts
Initiate equipment maintenance with disciplined data collection and interpretation
Implement and review equipment performance charts
Assist Engineers with design of experiments
Research new equipment for purchasing
Advise on corrective action plans
Document and report results of maintenance activities
Write and maintain work instructions related to equipment maintenance
Improve equipment uptime while maintaining and improving quality standards
Hands-on mentality working in a team oriented environment
Work as needed to meet organizational production milestones
Determine and maintain spare parts and miscellaneous equipment for maintenance
Work in a class 100 clean room environment and abide by cleanroom protocols
Report any safety incidents to the proper channels
Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance
Familiarity using hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, allen keys, shims, calipers, etc.
Able to notify team and stakeholders on line down situations
Able to use Google Suite and Windows 10 software
Able to pick up items weighing up to 50 lbs
Collect and document equipment related data and repair actions
Team player attitude willing to assist other members in the team when necessary
Quick learner-ability to learn several processes within the factory
Electrical assembly/schematic reader huge plus for this position
Ability to drive continuous improvement projects and programs while executing action plans.
Extensively collect and document equipment related data/procedures
Pneumatic troubleshooting experience
PLC troubleshooting experience
Vacuum chamber troubleshooting experience
Wafer handling robot troubleshooting experience
Education:
Minimum Minimum of 2 year Associate's Degree within a technical field or technical college equivalent required or relevant work experience.
