About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated Production Test Engineer to help the Production team and Sales Engineering team define and validate Lambda product requirements including system capabilities, limitations, and supported configurations. You should also possess in-depth knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment.
In addition, to enable Lambda’s growth, we are expanding to a larger manufacturing facility and will be heavily focused on redesigning our manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and increase manufacturing throughput supporting our growth plan.
What You’ll Do
Define and control production processes, including tooling, equipment and documentation ensuring all test procedures comply with company and industry standards
Validate design specifications and shop floor applications of new product, tools, or equipment
Install and test cluster management software
Support implementation of a Quality Policy at Lambda, including implementing a data-driven culture
Comply with all manufacturing and warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policies and strategies
Lead continuous improvement projects to refine performance in safety, quality, layout, flow and ensure sufficient capacity is in place to meet Lambda’s growth objectives
Lead and manage all capex projects to ensure delivery is on time and within budget
Launch Tulip, our manufacturing execution system (MES), and establish a process for ensuring all configurations are supported through Tulip with appropriate SOPs and Data Collection Plans
Provide training to the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and broader Lambda teams on technical discipline
Play a key role in launching Lambda’s new manufacturing facility by the end of FY23
You
Have 2+ years of experience in related fields
Have strong knowledge of Linux systems
Have experience in software development and testing
Have experience reading and writing Python test scripts
Have excellent time management and organizational skills
Are able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Have experience working across compute, storage and networking
Are passionate about lean, new technology and leading teams through continuous improvement activity
Have positive energy, strong communication skills and are ready to jump in and help our Manufacturing team solve problems
Are ready and excited to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Java, C++, SQL, XML, Python
Demonstrated ability leading teams through lean transformation
Experience in the machine learning and/or deep learning technology
Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) hardware and server integration processes (L6 through L11)
Ability to configure L2-L3 networking
Experience with firmware/software updates and hardware flashing
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $122,000 - $153,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
