About the role:
K Health is seeking an Accounting Manager to support our general accounting, manage local payroll and taxes, and assist our people operations team. To be successful in this role, you need experience with running payroll as well as sound knowledge and expertise in local taxes. You know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. You are a highly driven, energetic and focused individual. You will be a key member of the accounting team and report directly to the Controller.
What you'll be doing:
Manage and supervise bookkeeping staff and provide guidance, training, and support as needed
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
Review and approve financial transactions, such as invoices, expenses, and payroll
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure that all necessary reconciliations and journal entries are completed on time
Work with the audit team during the annual audits
Prepare and file monthly tax returns, including VAT, payroll tax, and other applicable taxes
Oversee the payroll process, including calculating and processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and resolving any payroll-related issues
Take part in the day-to-day of the Israeli entity's financial operations
Monitor bank accounts and cash flow, including currency conversions
Coordinate with other departments, such as Legal, Operations, and HR
Working in cooperation with the global finance team.
What we're looking for:
CPA degree in accounting
2+ years of experience following a CPA internship in a finance position.
Experience in High-Tech Companies – advantage
Experienced in payroll processing, tax laws, and compliance requirements
Very organized, excellent multi-tasking abilities, and great time management skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with NetSuite, Shiklulit is an advantage
