About the Role: We are searching for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team and help us scale to the next level while promoting a team-oriented and highly collaborative culture! Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, this position will have high visibility and interaction with various departments throughout the company. We are fast-paced, high-growth startup, which means we build processes, solve problems and manage competing high priorities daily. In this role, you'll focus primarily on improving our monthly reporting processes and controls around revenue recognition and gross profit analysis, and you’ll play a lead role in implementing new software to streamline revenue reporting. The Accounting Manager will have a large impact on accounting operations, cross-functional projects, and audit readiness efforts. The ideal candidate will partner well cross-functionally and have a flexible, can-do attitude.   Requirements and responsibilities: Plan, review, and perform month-end close processes with a sense of urgency, proactively shortening close to 4 days while maintaining accurate supporting workpapers.   Critically evaluate accounting information, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis to ensure accurate, auditable, and explainable outcomes. Actively participate in the implementation and oversight of LeapFin for streamlined revenue & COGS processes, including design, testing, and implementation activities. Manage a team of 1-2 accountants, providing actionable feedback for growth and development while producing a high quality of team output. Partner throughout the finance department to streamline our monthly close & flux processes, with a focus on consistency and predictability. Establish strong relationships with cross-functional peers, representing the Accounting department with a high degree of collaboration. Contribute to building a strong control environment over financial reporting and core financial systems. Foster a positive and performance-driven culture, providing feedback to support, develop, and maintain a high performing team. Assist Accounting & Finance leadership with special projects & complex analyses.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required Active CPA license, preferred Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years of experience reviewing close activities, required Heavy Excel, NetSuite, and system implementation experience, required Experience in a large public auditing firm, strongly preferred Self-directed worker with the ability to resolve issues independently with minimal supervision, but also asks appropriate questions as needed   What we provide: We recognize that there is more to work than the day-to-day responsibilities. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and may vary from the amount above.
