As a member of this team, you will work to execute thoughtful, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive meaningful growth for the company.
Role Overview
GOAT Group is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Content Specialist to support our content growth across goat.com, flightclub.com and grailed.com. Responsibilities will center around coordinating content production including keyword research, content brief creation and uploading content. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter, who is passionate about SEO, knowledgeable of the current sneaker and fashion landscape, deadline-oriented and collaborative.
In this role, you will:
Utilize existing standard operating procedures to perform keyword research, conduct SEO content audits of our competitors and track keyword performance over time
Coordinate content production by collaborating closely with content and copy teams. This includes creating content briefs, assigning content, reviewing content for SEO, routing content for approval and uploading to our sites via a custom CMS
Monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly content performance to understand what content tactics are working and where we need to improve
Efficiently communicate with other teams in the Marcom department in order to align SEO content with the brand vision, company-wide goals and marketing initiatives
Use tools such as Google Sheets, Mode, Google Search Console, SimilarWeb, Google Analytics, SEMrush, ahrefs, and Content King to track content, research keywords and more
We are looking for:
2 years relevant marketing experience in either brand strategy, content marketing, PR or search engine optimization
Strong project management skills; you are comfortable managing multiple projects at once and coordinating stakeholders across departments at multiple levels
High level understanding of how content can drive SEO success and impact bottom line revenue
Some familiarity with SEO tools including: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, ahrefs, Contentking, Screaming Frog
Some familiarity with at least one Business Intelligence tool (Mode, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker, etc)
Have worked in a CMS before
Nice to have:
Experience in eCommerce or at a technology company highly valued
BA/BS degree in liberal arts, business, marketing, or a relevant field
Fashion and sneaker knowledge
Experience using Slack and Google Suite
The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
