Build the programs to help Flexport grow The opportunity:  Flexport is looking for Senior SaaS Operations Engineers to help Flexport establish itself as the most trusted company in the global trade ecosystem. As SaaS Ops Engineer, you are responsible for administering SaaS & Client platform technologies. You have expertise in SaaS administration including Google Workspaces, O365/Teams, Slack, Atlassian, Okta SSO, AD, etc, as well as Client Platforms including Mac and Windows. You are passionate about solving problems and helping internal customers.  You like to continuously look for ways to improve all aspects of IT processes by looking for ways to automate & deploy innovative repeatable processes.  What you’ll do: Perform administration activities across our environments including servers, end user client devices and SaaS applications such as Google Workspaces, O365/Teams, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, Jamf, etc. Proactively monitor SaaS applications & infrastructure, aggressively communicate and help troubleshoot any issues as appropriate. Manage policies and single sign-on with Okta; identify and drive efficiencies and improvements to the current system Serve as the primary escalation channel for support-related technical issues Participate in on-call incident response rotation. Partner with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to support, deploy, and maintain secure system infrastructure, SaaS ecosystem & Client Platforms aligned to internal standards and industry best practices.  Coordinate activities with cross-functional stakeholders to plan scheduled maintenance or updates Develop and maintain clear and thorough technical documentation as it pertains to operating procedures, change management, inventories, etc. Support and mentor team members throughout the IT Operations organization Perform other tasks as requested and prioritized by the TechOps Manager What you’ll need: Strong interpersonal and communications skills. 6-7+ years of system engineering experience in a fast-paced global environment. 2+ years of experience and expert level knowledge in maintaining Linux systems and open-source services. 2+ years of experience with administration of collaboration & communication technologies such as Google Workspaces, O365, Slack, Atlassian, etc 1+ years experience with one or more scripting languages, such as, Python, Go, JavaScript, or Ruby. 2+ years of experience administering SSO, AD as well as Client Platforms such as Mac and Windows Deep experience building, iterating-on and supporting complex integrations and automations for SaaS tooling at scale via API/SDK usage Basic understanding of networking technologies Excellence in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training. The US base salary range for this full-time position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.) $129,280 — $171,700 USD
