Licensed Psychologist at Elemy
Elemy is looking for driven Licensed Psychologists (Psy.D or equivalent degree) to join our fast-growing team in Florida to provide telehealth diagnostic services to our pediatric clients.
We offer full or part-time opportunities, allowing you to set your schedule while earning top market compensation. Most importantly, with our tech-forward approach and streamlined operations we will make sure you spend your time on providing direct care while we handle all the administrative work for you, from patient onboarding and scheduling to payor relations and billing.
As a Psychologist on our care team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat children who may have slight or severe mental, emotional or social disorders, working collaboratively with our cross-functional clinical team, including our psychiatrists and mental health and ABA therapists.
The typical clinical scope of this role will include reviewing patient medical history, conducting and scoring various assessments for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and conducting follow-up appointments to communicate the results of such assessments to families in an empathetic and supportive manner.
What you’ll do:
In collaboration with certified administrators, conduct diagnostic evaluations including the CARS-2, GARS-3, ADOS-2 and MIGDAS-2 evaluations for pediatric patients ages 2-10
Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, when appropriate
Educate family members on the therapeutic services available to them and their child given their diagnostic results
Provide complete documentation and records of assessments and treatments according to in-house policies
Collaborate with Elemy’s Clinical leadership to improve our clinical approach and processes in order to create the best experience for each family
What you’ll need:
Experience conducting behavioral health diagnostic evaluations, including for autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression
Familiarity with common autism diagnostic measures including CARS-2, GARS-3, MIGDAS-2, and ADOS-2 strongly preferred
Ph.D. or. Psy.D. in psychology, or equivalent degree and licensed to practice in Florida
Ability to work remotely and, if interested, potentially traveling locally to meet with patients in a clinic setting
Experience working with children in a clinical setting is strongly desired
Excellent communication skills and comfortability with telehealth and other forms of virtual communication
Willingness to have difficult conversations with families about their child’s health
Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as determined by relevant regulatory bodies and the law
Spanish fluency is a plus
