About the role In this position, you will lead the definition and development of DoubleVerify’s content classification technology, which enables Fortune 500 companies to ensure that their ads do not appear on questionable content such as fake news and violence in social media, web, and CTV environments. The person in this role would be in charge of developing new functionality and services, which will expand the capabilities and coverage of DoubleVerify’s Brand Safety and Suitability products. This role is part of a cross-functional team that creates products to serve advertisers and partners across the digital landscape. The role requires you to collect requirements and make data-driven decisions, working closely with other product, engineering & data science teams across multiple geographical locations. Communication skills are incredibly important as the position interfaces heavily at all levels and across functions both inside DoubleVerify and with our external partners. The ideal candidate is autodidact, data-driven, technical and detail-oriented, and has extensive product management experience. Communication, organizational, and great analytical skills are also critical for this role.  Job Responsibilities Identify and prioritize new opportunities and deliver these to expand into new product areas. Manage development from concept ideation to product release, including requirement gathering and breaking down the vision to epics and stories  Collaborate with other product and engineering teams in order to ensure successful launches  Collect feedback and functional needs, and develop product requirements accordingly Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative field or equivalent practical experience building/shipping technical products Strong analytical skills and critical thinking  6+ years of combined full-time working experience 3+ years of experience in Product Management Organized with rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence Ability to quickly and effectively learn and explore new topics, identify knowledge sources and understand new technologies, markets and concepts independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledgeable of APIs & can understand JSON Preferred Qualifications Experience designing and building AI & Machine Learning products Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis tools Passion and desire to play a key role in driving a new business to success in the ad-tech space Knows the difference between recall & precision Experience with a scripting language - R, Python, etc. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $99,000 to $197,000 . This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.  The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
