Sales Development Representative

Degreed exists to discover, empower and recognize the next generation of the world's expertise.  We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) with foundational sales skills and a knack for marketing. Through various channels including phone, email, Linkedin, and video prospecting you’ll be charged with identifying ideal prospects and qualifying opportunities for the business. This role is primarily focused on finding potential clients for Degreed’s ‘Learn In’ product (feel free to google “Learn In”). Day in the Life Develop an educated point of view on the value of learning and skills in the business environment. Work with a Global SDR team that will actively support, encourage, and ensure you’re developing practical skills.  Serve as the initial point of contact with prospects on targeted companies. Leverage our sales stack (ZoomInfo, SalesNav, Salesforce, Outreach, etc.) to conduct thorough market research and acquire accurate prospect data. Perform daily outreach activities across multiple channels. (phone, email, Linkedin, video, etc.) Connect with prospects, schedule meetings, and perform discovery to determine if Degreed’s solution is a good fit for their challenges and/or goals. Qualify high-quality opportunities and partner with your Sales Director(s) to accelerate deals through the sales process. Continually educate yourself on the learning industry and modern sales & marketing tactics. Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections. Who You Are 1+ years experience in SaaS B2B sales or marketing roles. Strong copywriting, presentation, and communication skills. Extremely organized, process and detail-oriented. Interest and passion for testing innovative sales strategies. Strong work ethic. Be fun to be around! Compensation and Benefits at Degreed Degreed is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $50,000 - $62,000 USD . Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack.
