Cowbell Cyber i s hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Quality Assurance to join our Engineering team.  Responsibilities: Develop Automation code for RESTful Web Services and Web UI Develop Java-based Automation Test Frameworks which uses – Java, Selenium 3 Web driver, etc Develop Cypress based ReactJS based UI test cases Define and lead performance test implementation Create and maintain acceptance and regression tests Keep user experience at the forefront and recommend enhancements Plan and coordinate testing efforts with outside teams for features with cross-functional dependencies Lead and grow Quality Assurance team Qualification: 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience BA/BS Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience Experience with Micro Services and RESTful web services Experience with CI / CD (Jenkins job integration, migration and report tools) Knowledge of AWS, server programming, databases, and cloud architectures Proven experience with delivering high quality software products within a full development lifecycle Good verbal & written communication skills demonstrated with the ability to communicate with developers and product managers Attitude and aptitude to be successful in a growing and fast-paced company Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, Java, Postgres and version control systems preferred Performance testing with J-Meter or Karate, preferred Who you are: You’re hungry to get things done, in a fast-paced environment You have an ownership mindset: you are comfortable with both responsibility and accountability You’re thoughtful about creating and maintaining a world-class engineering culture You work well in teams and enjoy collaborating with engineers, designers and product teams You are passionate about cyber risk and insurance and want to be part of a team comprised of experts from cybersecurity, enterprise and insurance domain You have a BA/BS Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
