About the role: Classy's Product Technology team is hiring a results oriented Senior Test Engineer that will play a key role in leading the testing effort for a brand-new Integrations API team. In this role you will develop test plans/test cases, lead the testing efforts for brand-new features, establish a consistent process for testing integrations, and work with the Integrations API team to develop fun, exciting, new high quality features. The ideal candidate is experienced in both manual and automation testing, in working with integrations, testing APIs as well as UIs, and implementing process improvements. In this role we are looking for an individual that is passionate about delivering the highest quality platform possible, has a love for quality and documentation, and is a great organizer with leadership skills. We want to talk to you if you have a strong desire to be part of a team that is highly collaborative and focuses on delivering high quality software on-time.   What you’ll accomplish: Working with a highly collaborative team passionate about decreasing time to market while growing quality and reducing the feedback cycle! Lead testing for brand-new integrations Design, develop and implement innovative and comprehensive tests for a scrum team for both the UI and API layers of the platform (manual and automation) Collaborate with geographically dispersed personnel across multiple disciplines and teams including: engineering, product management, design, marketing and customer care Work with dev system leads, manual and automation leads, and test engineer peers on system designs, requirements development and mapping, and process implementation Participate in continual product improvement efforts and collaborating with colleagues to implement standard methodologies and procedures to ensure we are always learning Work with limited supervision, and take ownership of testing projects to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals as assigned What you bring (Required): Strong ownership and time management skills with a phenomenal attention to detail 5+ years experience crafting, developing, and driving software tests in a fast paced scrum (agile) environment and leading cross team projects Experience testing both Front-end (UI) and Back-end (APIs) components - must be able to demonstrate knowledge of RESTful services and how web applications are built Passion for collaborating with other team members to deliver all sprint deliverables across the finish line by the end of the sprint and deploy code of the highest quality Experience working and delivering timely and within-cost technical projects on a software product development team Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, or user interface Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective teammate with high level of customer compassion - must want to be part of the team and do right by those who choose to use our software platform Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented agile scrum environment What would be awesome to have (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject area or Technical School for Programming with 3+ years of experience Experience in DB queries (Sql, mongo) Expertise in POSTMAN Experience creating test scenarios written in Gherkin Experience with Karate or similar automation frameworks Experience working with SaaS applications deployed to AWS Experience in testing Integrations of external applications Experience with the Atlassian tool set including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Nonprofit or online fundraising experience and/or Payment Processing experience Why you’ll love it here:  Market competitive pay Rich healthcare benefits including employer paid premiums for medical/dental/vision (100% for employee only plans and 85% for employee + dependent plans) and employer HSA contributions.  401(k) retirement plan with company matching Hybrid workplace with fully remote flexibility for many roles Monetary support for new hire setup, hybrid work & wellbeing, family planning, and commuting expenses A variety of mental and wellness programs to support employees    Generous paid parental leave and family planning stipend Supportive time off policies including vacation, sick/mental health days, volunteer days, company holidays, and a floating holiday Learning & development and recognition programs Gives Back Program where employees can nominate a fundraiser every month for a donation from the company Inclusion, diversity, equity, and belonging are vital to our priorities and we continue to evolve our strategy to ensure DEI is embedded in all processes and programs at GoFundMe.
