WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Sr. Analyst, People Analytics will use People data infrastructure to help us understand People trends, influence people strategy & shape culture at Box. Box is at a critical point in the People Analytics journey, and we need someone who has strong technical data skills and the passion for the application of data analytics in the People space, to help take this function to the next level. This role reports into the Sr. Director of Compensation & People Analytics and will work closely with various cross-functional partners across the People team and Data/Engineering stakeholders. This role will have a great deal of autonomy in building People Analytics offerings from the ground up and in partnering with the business to provide data insights.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Scale people data: Enhance people data platform, effectively organize and distill data, build scalable models to analyze data
Data Storytelling: Visualize data, consumerize & personalize insights
Data engagement : Help Increase data literacy, build/understand hypotheses and requests
WHO YOU ARE
You live & breathe people data. You enjoy digging into the details of people data models to answer questions, and you enjoy finding ways to enable people to access data to drive decisions. Experience working with people data preferred (e.g., hiring, org profile, turnover metrics, and other people analytics).
Your analytics skills are strong, including 3+ years of experience in an analytics role. You have significant experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Domo, etc.), and have a thorough understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL, and data modeling. Experience with R & Python and People Analytics platforms such as Visier, OneModel, Workday, etc. are all good to have.
You're a trusted business partner. You've got excellent communication skills and can translate between technical and functional requirements. You have experience working with business stakeholders to clarify questions and prioritize asks. High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
