WHY BOX NEEDS YOU We are looking for a hands-on individual to join the Revenue Operations team. In this position you will be required to manage our global revenue accounting processes alongside a hardworking, dedicated team. This role requires a strong understanding of Box’s business model and will have full ownership of reviewing and validating all revenue streams within Box in accordance with GAAP. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment as well as be well versed in the technical and operational details of the order to cash process. WHAT YOU'LL DO Oversee all global monthly revenue financial close activities. This includes review ing and posting journal entries related to reve nue, cash, and accounts receivables. Promote timely execution of all revenue financial month end close activities by tracking all tasks and ensuring accountability across the team. Ensure revenue related policies, processes, and controls and related doc umentation are performed accurately for required SOX certification. Prepare and present monthly revenue results to leadership. This includes compiling revenue flux analysis, balance flux analysis, and participating in CFO Review. Support international co unterparts & provide thoughtful insight into revenue detail across subsidiaries & business units. Coach, mentor, and manage a team of 3 individual contributors. Maintain team dynamic & support as needed on career development & learning opportunities acros s the industry.   Assist , design, and consult for various teams across the business as it relates to tasks, projects, or programs that may have impact to revenue recognition , revenue systems, and any revenue operations. Identify and drive changes to stream line and automate revenue policies and procedures. WHO YOU ARE BA/BS required (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting)  5+ years of working experience in a similar role – required 2+ years team management – required Certified Public Accounting (CPA) – highly preferred (or an interest in pursuing a CPA)   Systems experience – Salesforce, Zuora, Netsuite, Blackline – a plus Passion for cloud technologies & system integrations Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and unwavering integrity. High-functioning, working knowledge of relevant revenue GAAP Solid revenue accounting, reconciliation and accounting process knowledge including comfort with multi-entity and multi-currency environments. Strong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new flows and software technologies. Strong analytical, research, problem solving and evaluative thinking skills. Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills. Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through. Strong communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization. Team-oriented approach – can effectively lead a project or participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations. Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Exceptional multitasking abilities, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
