Join us as we empower people to easily and freely digitize all the world’s assets on one open, programmable blockchain platform Are you looking for a challenging accounting position within the rapidly growing blockchain industry?  Ava Labs is looking for a Staff Accountant who will be an integral part of the team.  This individual will participate in the end to end accounting functions, from the assisting in the accounting close process to reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.  WHAT YOU WILL DO Perform general accounting and other related duties for the organization Participate in the accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for Ava Labs and its entities  Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reserves, and inter-company transactions Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts and manage accounts receivable collections Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts Provide outside auditors with assistance by gathering necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field 3+ years of public accounting experience, ideally within traditional finance, fintech, or blockchain Pursuing CPA or Active CPA preferred Experience with working in a complex ERP system; NetSuite is preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of general financial accounting, cost accounting, and US GAAP Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles Strong systems orientation with a desire to drive process automation, using financial systems and tools Passion for crypto/web3 and eagerness to consume latest news and developments Base Salary Range: $84,000 - $105,000 ( **This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.) #LI-Remote #LI-TW1 WHY AVA LABS?
