What You’ll Do - Lead the architecting and development of a state-of-the-art automation system executing tests in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) flight simulation environment. - Define and document test plans for the avionics subsystems. - Design and build test setups to verify flight hardware in representative environments before flight. - Define and monitor key performance indicators to track test coverage, quality improvements, and monitor the progress of the test campaigns. - Execute test campaigns and build test reports and dashboards. - Monitor KPI for test coverage. - Plan and conduct experimental, environmental, operational, on prototypes of aircraft systems and equipment. - Write technical reports and other documentation for use by engineering staff, management, and operators. - Test performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems and equipment to be used on ground control stations and as aircraft flight hardware. - Develop test scripts using programming languages such as Python. Configure aircraft electronics for flight including troubleshooting of R&D systems. What You Need: - Master’s degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related. - 5 years in the job offered or as an Avionics or Simulation Software Engineer, Technical Specialist or related. - Experience in a skill set that includes expertise in manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain Experience to include aircraft manufacturing knowledge, HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop), simulation, execution and test automation frameworks for aircraft component integration.
