What we are looking for: We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and help us grow our customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to have a massive impact on our company’s growth trajectory. In this role you will be expanding our customer base by identifying and developing new partnerships with members of the hobby. Your primary focus will be on consignment and loan origination.  The impact you will make: Driving new assets under management (AUM) from new customers Influence and execute on a sales strategy to drive new customer acquisition and increase revenue with a focus on relationship building  Develop and present proposals to potential customers and partners Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams on customer needs and requirements Identify new business opportunities and work with internal teams to execute on partnerships What you bring to the table: Must have : experience in or deep knowledge of the card collecting space with already established relationships Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field (nice to have) 4+ years of experience in business development or sales in the fintech or financial services industry Proven track record of driving new customer acquisition and increasing revenue Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment Strong customer service mindset  Experience with salesforce is a bonus What you will get from us: Ground floor opportunity as an early member of the ALT leadership team; you’ll directly shape the direction of our company.  An inclusive company culture that is being built intentionally to foster an environment that supports and engages talent in their current and future endeavors. 401K plus generous Work from home and Wellness Stipends  Flexible vacation policy Generous paid parental leave Competitive healthcare benefits, including HSA, for you and your dependent(s) The starting base pay for this role is between $75-100k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors including work experience. There is additionally a large commission component.
