We are seeking an Instrument Integration and Test Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team, which is tasked to develop a world-class fully automated instrument system for high precision proteomic analysis. The candidate is expected to work in close collaboration with various teams and responsible for integrating and testing all aspects of the system including hardware, software, and consumables. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows. Primary Responsibilities include: • Support prototype & manufacturing instrument builds and provide feedbacks for module/system level improvements. • Troubleshooting on complex mechanical, electrical, and fluidics systems. • Develop and execution automated scripts to assess hardware consistency and system performance. • Conduct various testing of hardware/software fixes and new features. • Set-up, execution, and data capture for research and development experiments. • Clearly document and present the results of the experiment studies or investigations. • Communicate with an interdisciplinary team to compile and track system integration problems. Requirements include: • B.S./M.S. and 1-3 years of relevant experience, in a scientific or engineering discipline required (physics, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field) • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C#, Python. • Familiarity with 3D CAD design software, such as SOLIDWORKS. • Be able to understand and communicate failures to engineering team members. • Self-motivation with a positive “can do” attitude and attention to details. • Demonstrated experience to deliver results on multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment The base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000 - $140,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined  by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and  maximum  target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
