Senior Product Designer

Affirm proudly includes Returnly.  We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer in Poland to join us in expanding our global presence and building experiences across our different platforms, from enterprise to consumer. Design serves a vital role at Affirm: from building narratives through data to creating products that help people make important financial decisions. As designers, you are responsible for crafting experiences that solve problems people struggle with every day.  We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of high-quality internal tools and B2B experiences through the use of user research insights and data. You can demonstrate a breadth of design and product experience leveraging your ability to create delightfully simple experiences that improve a user’s relationship with the tools they use most. You’re opinionated about the product direction and use empathy to build a deeper understanding of how products are used and how to make them work better. You will partner with cross-functional teams in product and engineering to ensure cohesion across the experience and drive positive change for the design team and the products we build. You will report to the Director of Product Design, Poland.  What You'll Do Design end-to-end flows and product experiences for web/mobile applications that shape our enterprise and consumer product ecosystems Work cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Engineering partners to represent the design team, facilitate design discussions and give feedback in planning and product channels Think holistically about complex systems, empathize with our customers and associates, and understand business goals to create compelling and effective user experiences Create end-to-end detailed design deliverables including experience maps, storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Work through complex and ambiguous situations to clarify and focus design direction Solicit feedback early and often from your peers, including other product designers and teammates in your product team Mentor and support other designers, fostering an inclusive environment Maintain and adapt our design system for internal use and advocate for scalable design solutions Leverage operational rigor for design through planning, principles, and frameworks to drive alignment Support and guide your team for the continuous growth of the function and the product Anticipated Percentage of Time Spent: 60% design 25% research and documentation 15% meetings What We Look For 5+ years experience in product or user experience design-focused roles A thoughtful approach to the craft of design informed by user needs  Ability to turn ambiguous directions into clear conceptual solutions solving for a user need and the business with limited direction Pride in shipping high-quality product experiences Prototyping is a core means of exploring and conveying design solutions Always taking the opportunity to validate design decisions through user/usability research and/or experiment with design Knows how to hold a bar for exceptional craft with balancing shipping to learn A demonstrated portfolio thinking strategically across multiple product and platform experiences and shipping successful in-app/web experiences in a fast-paced environment with impact and outcomes (Required) Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive package, with some highlights listed below.  However, the given figures are not guaranteed compensation ranges; rather, they are unbinding, approximate indications of what the salary may be for your awareness.
