DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, FP&A will lead initiatives within the Finance department and partner with heads of technical, delivery and corporate operating units, projecting and analyzing all facets of Aetion financials, with the objective to improve accuracy of projections, increase transparency throughout the organization, and inform product planning and corporate development initiatives.
This dynamic and highly motivated Manager will be responsible for creating and interpreting complex financial models that are critical to Aetion’s operations. We are searching for a detail oriented, analytically minded individual who is comfortable with creating and interpreting financial models. The position requires continuously assessing Aetion’s financial performance as well as potential risks and investments.
The goal of this position is to champion Aetion’s long-term financial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the financial planning strategy and direction of Aetion by analyzing monthly, quarterly, annual, and long range performance
Own the underlying core drivers and KPIs of the operating partners financials
Proactively partner with the broader finance team, operational leadership, and stakeholders to complete financial planning and budget management functions
Build financial models to support strategic decision-making such as, business cases analysis, pricing models, and cohort analysis
Provide visibility and drive accountability for financial performance and financial KPIs
Support cash management by providing insight to cash flows
Support the Executive team on annual planning and board reporting
Establishing consistent and standardized financial assessment and trend analysis of the company's operations
Prepare and present financial performance metrics to leadership team
Lead key initiatives to automate and scale financial controls and processes
Support financial due diligence for future fundraising efforts, large deals, contracts, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
3+ years prior finance, investment banking and/or private equity experience
Advanced Excel and data modeling
Proven experience effectively communicating and collaborating with all levels of the organization, including senior executives
Attention to detail while demonstrating ability to see the big picture
Working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high growth startup technology
Proficient in NetSuite and Adaptive Planning
Proficiency in SQL, Salesforce
Public company experience

Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. US Pay Range $115,000 — $120,000 USD
