Samba TV is seeking a Chief of Staff (COS) who can autonomously execute and operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This will be a key role in shaping and executing our long-term business strategy. The COS is a strategic, tactical, and hands-on role directly reporting to our CEO, Ashwin Navin. You’ll be a consultant, operator, and trusted advisor on key initiatives for the company and will ensure essential information to the executive team and beyond is synthesized and streamlined effectively. This role will lead and coordinate the core business priorities for our CEO and Executive team. The Chief of Staff will bring the overall strategy from roadmap and off-road map initiatives across the organization. The COS will continually drive alignment and execution of the core business priorities. This person will own high-impact cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments. Responsibilities Set the executive team’s monthly and quarterly prioritization on activities, key events, and deadlines, then facilitate alignment of resources to meet those objectives Work with cross-team and cross-company counterparts to manage executive participation as needed for key business events, planning, business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities Serve as strategic advisor and counsel to the leadership team, ensuring operational excellence across all key business functions Plan and execute communication strategy for customer/partner engagements and speaking engagements to ensure successful and impactful use of the team’s time Identify issues that impede success and provide solutions/recommendations, as well as opportunities to create cross group collaboration and synergies Orchestrate team design conversation and facilitate successful implementation of organizational plans. Utilize external and internal networks to enhance the impact and value of Samba TV’s contributions to the broadest company goals Add structure and process to drive strategic prioritization, alignment and outcomes to executive meetings from Executive Offsites, OKR goals setting, and QBRs Lead Board meeting preparation and documents in partnership with key executives Requirements Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed recommendations and drive process optimization Data analysis skills (in, Excel, Google Data Studio or similar platforms) for data visualization High-level understanding of recently released AI models for accelerating human efforts Presentation, meeting planning, and communication experience across various audiences (in-team, cross-team, executive, etc.) in partnership with Executive EAs Embraces growth mindset and is solution driven Bachelor degree in business, finance, strategy, PMO or a similarly rigorous major 7+ years of management consulting or similar field experience 3+ years of management experience Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must Concise, persuasive, and authentic communicator both verbally and in written communication Superb judgment and integrity, unparalleled confidentiality, and sophistication in all aspects of work Bonus: Consulting experience with a focus on operational excellence and execution Experience using Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and related tools (Workboard, etc.) and success in driving OKR adoption and outcomes company wide Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $150,000 - $250,000 per year for roles to be performed in New York City or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives.
