Job Requisition ID #25WD94069Position OverviewThe Data & Process Management (DPM) Technical Program Manager (TPM) role is a critical role, ensuring engineering and business teams achieve strategic outcomes.Our TPM is accountable for driving the project across all phases - roadmap execution, dependency tracking, and overseeing progress through all phases, ensuring all functional areas deliver on their responsibilities.You will be responsible for complex program and initiative delivery from planning through execution, including project planning, delivery forecasting, managing risks, dependencies, alignment with stakeholders, and collaborating with different roles to deliver on business value.In this role, you will engage with cross-functional teams, with other Autodesk divisions and/or outside partners/stakeholders to drive key aspects of business and technical solutions, and strategic planning, and address cross-team dependencies and relationships.As the ideal candidate, you possess robust program and project management skills, solid business acumen, and robust technical expertise, including the ability to impart a sense of urgency, and influence your leaders and peers.You demonstrate strong bias for action, you drive progress over perfection, you inspire optimism and you don’t let laggards rule – you strive for delivery of business value to our customers. You value organization and coordination, and putting together a project plan, keeping it up-to-date, and constantly asking you and others “are we on the track?”.This position is based in Toronto or Montreal with a hybrid model (1-2 times per week at the office)ResponsibilitiesFacilitate alignment between teams, functions, Divisions, and stakeholders. Drive alignment of cross organizations initiatives through project planning, dependency management and impediment removalDemonstrate expert understanding and execution of the project across all phasesWork with other TPMs in the team to identify areas for improvement on our practices and processesManage Stakeholders and Communications. Work with key stakeholders from executive teams, architects, and product management to shape strategy and requirements. Serve as communication focal point on complex programs & initiatives, with other Autodesk teams and divisions leadership. Provide both executive and team level status reporting on initiative status, risks, and achievementsPlan and ensure delivery. Engage with product and engineering leadership and teams to build a clear project delivery plan. During execution phase, where multiple cycles of sprints are tracked across several engineering teams, inspect, continuously refine the plan, and communicate regularly to stakeholders about progress against goalsFocus on impediment removal by supporting engineering teams with exception handlingDrive risk identification and mitigation analysis to address potential roadblocks, reduce waste, optimize delivery, and improve team satisfaction on the delivery process. Lead cross-functional development team efforts on providing technical solutions from design through delivery Drive automation of delivery processes that span across the design, development, and operations to create transparency and a single source of truthBe an agent of change. Drive continuous improvement and our science based, Kaizen culture by leading changes through retrospectives and "lessons learned"Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field5+ years of experience working directly with engineering and product teams on highly complex initiatives involving multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment, using traditional and Agile methodologies3+ years of experience as a technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Software Architect, Product Owner or similar roleDemonstrable knowledge in systems/cloud services, and cloud platform (APIs, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Strong technical background and aptitude, detailed driven and have excellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with a broad audienceZeal for process and operational excellenceDesire to continue to learn and challenge yourselfOutstanding relationship-building, and influencing skillsAbility to leverage technical tools to scale programs and solutionsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
