Job Requisition ID #25WD93753Position OverviewThe commission team is a global team of highly skilled analysts with wide knowledge of end-to-end commission process for their assigned sales teams.Sales commission professionals who will be a point of contact for questions relating to all commission issues, including compensation plans, calculations, and attainments (Sales commission is a key metric of the company). Collaborating with finance and sales teams as a sales commission professionalThe ideal candidate will be detail oriented, goal oriented, a fast learner, adaptable, and excited about challenges to work in a fast-paced environment.  They will have good communication skills (verbal/written), excellent analytical skills, strong sense of urgency and proven ability to meet deadlines, a passion to seek solutions, and be proactive and creative.ResponsibilitiesSales commissionUnderstands and can implement The Autodesk Sales Compensation Plan.  Able to apply company policy to the administration of the comp plan.  Raises exceptional requests with manager for guidance/interpretation as neededCalculate, validate and pay variable earnings accurately and on time for assigned sales teams and in line with current comp plan rules based on reporting from Forma SPM.Supports the roll out of changes to the commissions systemProvides a monthly analysis of attainment and can investigate and explain variances for high/low result fluctuations.  Proactively raises outliers with FBP’sProvides high quality, timely responses to the sales field and sales management, meeting their informational and reporting needs.  Is able to communicate complex logic and analysis in a manner that is understandable to the sales reps using internal company resources/FAQ’sParticipates in the creation of crediting rules and sales rep master Territory Target Sheets (TTS) for their specific sales teams.  May lead the crediting rules for their team(s).  Creates TTS’s for their teams, with insight and understanding for accuracy and alignment to Sales Compensation PlanUnderstand and posts required manual attainment or adjustments that may impact results and communicates timingUnderstands SOx requirements and maintains documents in compliance with SOx and ensures auditabilityProcess ImprovementMaintains commission tools for their assigned teams with reference data, employee information, variant information, and comp plan information needed to accurately produce commission payments and reports, which include maintaining an accurate sales organizational hierarchy, updating new hires/transfers/terminations and any salary/comp plan changesGives feedback into on-going process improvement and change within the team that improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales reporting and variable pay calculations.  May leads process improvement initiativesParticipates in User Acceptance Testing and other projects within GCOQuestions the “norm” to identify opportunities for process improvements.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience2 or more years of progressive experience in a mid-to-large public company, preferable with understanding of sales and sales commission.Advanced Microsoft Excel skillBusiness Objects, PowerBi, Cognos/Varicent is a plus/or other Commissions platformPreferred QualificationsAble to apply judgement consistentlyStrong organizational skillsWorks autonomously while meeting deadlines, escalating items when needed to managementAbility to multitask and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy                             Must be flexible in work time, as infrequent meetings are required with other team members in different GeosMust be customer service oriented, and have a willingness to help sales reps and management understand and resolve commissions issuesApplicant should have flexibility, an open mind, and a strong willingness to learn#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
