Factory Design supports bidirectional associativity between AutoCAD and Inventor, ensuring accurate and efficient design workflows.We are expanding our presence in Pune, India, and are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team focused on shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Reporting to the Manager of Software Development for Factory Design, you would be someone who is enthusiastic about creating applications targeted at Factory Design and Simulation. You will have experience in software development for cloud connected desktop applications. Autodesk offers a hybrid work experience.Responsibilities Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the applicationProduce well-structured, secure, maintainable, and documented codeParticipate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and documentation efforts to further software qualityUnderstand event-driven architectures and apply it to software developmentCollaborate with teams to meet project goals and timelinesUse cloud technologies, including AWS/AZURE for scalable and reliable solutionsParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field3+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in cloud connected desktop applicationsKnowledge of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithmsProficiency in C++, C#, .NET Core and .Net FrameworkExperience in building user interfaces with WPF and/or WinFormsExperience with database technologies e.g. MSSQLExperience with build and CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExcellent debugging skills to solve complex software issuesAbility to quickly learn new programming languages and frameworksExperience creating technical documentationUnderstanding of event-driven architecture principlesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum frameworkPreferred Qualifications Experience developing add ins, plugins, content libraries (Autodesk preferred)Familiarity with CAD concepts and Discrete Event SimulationFamiliarity with Inventor, AutoCAD, Factory Design Utilities, and FlexSim#LI-KS2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
