Join our Fusion Data team as a Principal Engineer and help architect the next generation of Autodesk Fusion—a cutting-edge CAD ecosystem trusted by millions worldwide.  Roles & Responsibilities Lead with Impact: Mentor a talented Scrum team, guiding the development of foundational microservices that power Fusion’s data platformSolve Complex Challenges: Tackle technical puzzles, troubleshoot issues, and drive solutions that scale across global products like AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion and RevitArchitect for Excellence: Design and implement robust, efficient backend systems using best practices and modern development guidelinesInnovate Continuously: Research, prototype, and introduce new technologies and patterns to keep our platform ahead of the curveCollaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product owners, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-quality featuresWhat You’ll Do Lead and mentor a Scrum team maintaining multiple microservices Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Architect, design, and implement clean, scalable code Ensure performance, resiliency, and scalability of backend systems Develop and maintain robust test automation Collaborate to analyze requirements and deliver impactful solutions Research and implement new ideas and technologies Deliver results that delight both internal and external clients and drive customer satisfaction Integrate features across diverse teams and Platform technologies Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 10+ years of hands-on experience with large scale commercial cloud services and applications Proven leadership in critical projects and fast-paced environments Advanced Java programming skills (Spring, Jersey, Spring Boot) Expertise in large-scale microservices, caching (Redis), distributed tracing, eventing (Kinesis), and scaling Mastery of RESTful web services, relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) Experience with unit and automation testing (JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter) Deep knowledge of software design patterns, distributed systems, resiliency, and security Strong troubleshooting and remote debugging skills Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools (Ant, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins) and version control (Git) Excellent communication and adaptability across time zones Preferred QualificationsExperience with AWS stack (ECS, Lambda, Batch, Step Function, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, SQS) Familiarity with Python, Groovy, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React.js, Redux) Agile development experience Knowledge of search technologies (Lucene, Elasticsearch) Experience with Jira and Wiki Join Us!  Be part of an innovative team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Autodesk Fusion 360.
